The holiday season also brings along a host of sensory information like the smell of gingerbread cookies baking, the smell of evergreen, the ringing of bells as you shuffle in and out of stores...the list goes on and on.

Throw in some changes in routines and you might as well start embracing for that impending sensory meltdown that's coming your way.

Yep, Christmas is lovely and all that jazz, but when you have sensory kids at home like I do, you know that it can be an extremely overwhelming time of year for your little one.
