I loved playing them as a kid and still enjoy spending time playing them as an adult. Same with my husband. So naturally, my kids are into them as well.

So when Nintendo announced its newest video game console, we quickly preordered it. We wanted to enjoy it as soon as possible with our kids and we certainly have.

If you're never heard of Nintendo's newest gaming console, then here's what it looks like:

It's available in gray and a blue/red combo. We personally went with the gray to keep it classic.

But basically a Nintendo Switch is a video game console for home AND for on the go. You can slide the controllers off and on and take the console with you or place it in its docking station to enjoy on your home television. You can literally switch your style of play by sliding the controllers. Hence, the name Nintendo Switch.
