Looking for social scripts? Then you'll love this free social script example about what to say when trick-or-treating at Halloween. It's great for helping your kids (or students) with autism know what to say during specific social situations.

Have your kids with autism or hyperlexia said something wacky or random during social scenarios?

The answer is likely yes.

Often these kids need a prompt or script to help them navigate tricky social situations. And, in our experience, speech scripts were so helpful with my son J, especially when he was younger, and well before I knew what hyperlexia was.

Halloween can be extremely overwhelming for these kids. In addition, kids with autism or hyperlexia might make comments like "I don't like that candy!" or "This house smells weird!" or something else considered rude while trick-or-treating.

So this Halloween trick-or-treating social scripts mini flip book is a perfect way to help these kids pick an appropriate thing to say while trick-or-treating.
